Concussions/ Traumatic Brain Injuries (TBI)
Concussions are serious head injuries that occur following a bump, blow, or jolt to the head that causes the head and brain to move rapidly back and forth. Whether a concussion occurs at school or at home and the student is returning to school, it is important for students, parents, and staff to understand the signs of a concussion and the recovery process.
